Cooley Distillery is proud to announce the appointment of Monsieur Henri, a subsidiary of Sazerac, as the Exclusive Distributor for our Award Winning Portfolio of Irish Whiskeys in the US - Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey, Tyrconnell Single Malt & Connemara Peated Single Malt.

Recognized for reviving the tradition and quality of Irish whiskey, Cooley has received the ultimate accolade from the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), the Outstanding Achievement Trophy. Cooley has followed up this success by winning numerous International Awards for their whiskies, such as the recent Double Gold Medal and .Best of Irish Whiskey. title at the San Francisco Spirits Awards for Connemara; Gold and Silver Medals in the International Wine and Spirits Competition and San Francisco World Spirits Competition for The Tyrconnell; and Silver Medal and .Best in Category Award for Kilbeggan, all attesting to the excellence of their whiskeys. Founded by John Teeling, an Irish entrepreneur with a Harvard degree who resurrected the distillery and brought it back to its glory days, the company has roots that date back to 1757. John's vision was to revitalize the stagnant Irish whiskey industry through innovation and resurrect century old traditional Irish pure pot still distillation and the technique of drying malting barley over peat fires. This is best seen in Cooley's development of its portfolio of Single Malt Irish Whiskies, while traditionally most Irish malt whiskey has been used to create blended Irish whiskey. To this day Cooley Distillery is the only independent Irish owned distillery.
