Later sent to mature in our 200 year old warehouses, in Kilbeggan. These
combined expertise create the taste of vanilla and honeyed sweetness that
emanates from its many years of maturing in rum and bourbon oak casks.
It s silky smooth and robust character is a truly delightful experience
to the discerning drinker.
The unique and exceptional quality of Greenore Single
Grain has been recognised this year by the International Wine and Spirits
Competition where it won a gold medal.

Nose: Clean light grain, with honey
and oak characters.
Taste: Silky smooth and mellow with
honey start combined with fresh almonds and spices to create this delicate
balance.
Finish: Warm honey taste lingering
in the mouth with a dry finish.

Greenore Single Grain can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks
or with water to release the bouquet or as you like it.

"This is a really light whiskey with a delicately
perfumed flowery aroma. Then the nose expands to reflect the oak casks
in which the whiskey has matured with vanilla and green wood notes. The
lightness of the nose is reflected on the tongue. The delicate flowery
elements unfold to create a whiskey with a well-known depth of character.
There is a little cinnamon and all spice in the mouth and a hint of fruit.
The sweetness lingers on the tongue but there is a surprise in the finish
which is dry and full of spice. " Helen Arthur, author
of The Single Malt Whiskey Companion.
"Greenore has worked well for Cooley
Distillery, it is sweet and unctuous." Giles MacDonagh,
Journalist with the London Financial Times.
